Dominating Barbells is more than a coaching business – it’s a hub for powerlifting in southern Germany. Led by Aaron Biebel, the brand combines coaching, personal training, and event organization to push the sport forward. Together, we built a new website that captures that mission: clear, powerful, and built to grow with their expanding competitions and coaching offers.

Aaron’s work is deeply rooted in his own journey as an athlete and coach, and in his drive to build a community around powerlifting. That resonated instantly with us, since our founder Per has been part of the same sport for years. Dominating Barbells needed a site that reflects both their coaching services and their growing competitions, while also being simple enough for Aaron and his team to update themselves. The result is a digital home that’s clear, bold, and community-driven.
From the start, it was clear that Aaron wanted more than just an online presence. The Dominating Barbells site had to serve as a foundation for multiple goals: presenting coaching offers, showcasing competitions, and hosting an integrated shop. That required a structure that was simple for visitors to navigate, but flexible enough to expand as the brand grows. Together, we translated those needs into a focused, modern website that balances clarity with strength.
Aaron chose our Starter Homepage as the base, and we extended it with a Shopify Buy Button integration to handle event sign-ups and merch sales. This gave Dominating Barbells a lightweight, fast website with the added power of a shop that can scale with future competitions. We guided Aaron through the process of shaping the content, refining the structure, and making sure everything aligned with solid website principles.
The site was built using our OneFlow Jekyll theme with a self-editable setup, so Aaron and his team can update offers, competitions, and shop items on their own. Before launch, we ran our full quality process: manual and automated checks of site speed, responsiveness, SEO basics, accessibility, and legal compliance. The result is a website that’s both reliable and future-ready – giving Dominating Barbells the momentum to keep growing Germany’s powerlifting scene.
